The Demogorgon to “Look Quaint” in Comparison to New Forces of Evil in Season Two of ‘Stranger Things’

Immensely popular Netflix series, Stranger Things, is nearing it’s second season and of course, fans of the show are excited.

In a recent podcast interview with GoldDerby, show producer, Shawn Levy spoke about the upcoming season and said that Will Byer will be in the centre of it all. Levy said, “Will Byer is very much at the center of several intersecting challenges and threats in Season Two.”

Levy also made sure to let listeners know that the Demogorgon has nothing on the creatures (or creatures) we will witness in season two. Levy told GoldDerby, “I think overall the kind of forces of evil that are inherent in Season Two make that Demogorgon look quaint in retrospect.”

For those who haven’t seen Stranger Things, the show is set in 1983 in small town Indiana where the disappearance of a 12-year-old boy reveals strange, supernatural occurrences and creatures throughout the town, plus hidden government experiments.

The second season is set to tackle the aftermath of the events in season one and the speculation is that the creature in the season two will be one the characters mentioned while playing Dungeons & Dragons – the Thessalhydra.

Stranger Things stars Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Cara Buono and Noah Schnapp.

If you haven’t seen the first season, you have plenty of time to give Strangers Things a watch. The second season is set to premiere on Netflix on October 31.
