T.J. Miller Won’t Return for ‘Silicon Valley’ Season Five
With news that HBO has renewed Silicon Valley for a fifth season, it appears the whole cast won’t be back, as breakout star T.J. Miller will exit the series.
He plays arrogant entrepreneur Erlich Bachman on the tech startup comedy. The comedian is known for his rapid fire, off the cuff insults.
“The producers of Silicon Valley and T.J. Miller have mutually agreed that T.J. will not return for season 5,” HBO said in a statement. “In Erlich Bachman, T.J. has brought to life an unforgettable character, and while his presence on the show will be missed, we appreciate his contribution and look forward to future collaborations.”
Miller is currently working on Comedy Central’s The Gorburger Show. He’s also involved with several movies including The Emoji Movie, Ready Player One and of course Deadpool 2.
