‘Games of Thrones’ Final Season Has Six Episodes
Many people wondered where the show will go, what will happen (especially since the show’s plot passed the novel’s), who will die, and who will finally attain the Iron Throne. And now we have our answers.
What started from the intense novels by George R. R. Martin, HBO’s epic television show Game of Thrones has announced that its eighth season will be its final one. It will have six episodes to conclude the popular series. The Emmy award-winning series will cap off at 73 episodes since its first release in 2011.
Producers are now wrapping up the final details while also in the midst of post-production of season seven. That will return in the summer and consist of seven episodes.
Even though the end of Game of Thrones is near, fret not. HBO is looking into four spin-off series for fans to enjoy. While there is no guarantee for these shows to air, there is hope that the franchise will continue.
What do you think of this announcement? Are six episodes too short? Are you sad that the show is ending? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
