RUMOR: DCEU to Incorporate Major DC Villains in The Batman
The Batman may be getting the multi-villain treatment.
According to reports from DCEU Community r/DCEULeaks, specifically from user @WBUT7, The Batman is looking into introducing more DC villains in the Batman standalone film. These villains include Deathstroke, and potentially a new Scarecrow.
“Many, if not most, members of Batman’s rogue’s gallery will be making appearances in the film,” the site wrote. “It’s going to be crammed with Bat-villains, which means that just about every major bad guy you’ve ever wanted to see in a movie will be in this movie.”
Other than Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke and Jared Leto’s the Joker, there has not been any confirmed villains brought in by Warner Bros. Additionally, The Batman’s director, Matt Reeves has not really touched the film, as he is still fulfilling his commitments to War for the Planet of the Apes.
Warner Bros. has neither confirmed nor denied the reports that have surfaced.
