Deadpool 2 continues to build up its team of villains with the casting of Jack Kesy (The Strain, Baywatch). Though there is no word on who he is playing, speculation is that he will be Black Tom.

X-Men villain Black Tom is an Irish mutant who can control and project energy through plants. He also can send powerful energy blasts through his shillelagh and other wooden objects.

Kesy joins Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino as the film’s new characters.

With the first film’s huge success, a lot is expected of the sequel. So far Deadpool has grossed $783 million worldwide.

Ryan Reynolds returns as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, along with Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead when Deadpool 2 opens June 1, 2018.
