King of the South and rapper/actor Tip “T.I.” Harris was a hilarious surprise in 2015’s Ant-Man alongside Paul Rudd, Michael Peña & David Dastmalchian. In an interview with BlackFilm, T.I. confirmed he will be reprising his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with 2018’s Ant-Man follow-up, Ant-Man & The Wasp. With production starting next month, its easy to see why now’s a great time to let fans know.

Wilson Morales of BlackFilm caught up with T.I. at an event in NY yesterday for the upcoming Season 3 of NBC’s The Carmichael Show, where Harris was there in support of the cast. Morales asked T.I. if he was returning to Atlanta for filming the sequel; he nodded his head yes and confirmed that shooting will begin in July. Recently, Dastmalchian said the action in Ant-Man & The Wasp would be “mind-blowing”!
