‘Rambo’ Is Receiving A Remake
Rambo, a film franchise which has received many sequels and was the cannon which shot Sylvester Stallone into all kinds of action stardom.
Now, with Hollywood’s trend of revitalizing old films with new ideas, Rambo is the next on the list to receive a full remake.
The new film will be a Bollywood production and feature Tiger Shroff as the titular action protagonist.
The film’s synopsis goes as follows: Rambo is the last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed Forces who returns home to find that his land is in the midst of a war. But when he’s forced into hiding in the jungles and mountains of the Himalayas, he draws on his training to wreak unstoppable destruction onto his enemies.
Tiger Shroff, while being interviewed by the Hollywood Reporter about this new film said that ““Being a martial artist and a huge action movie buff since childhood, this all seems very surreal, and I’m very grateful for this opportunity,” and even spoke on Stallone by saying “By no means do I believe I can replace the legendary Sylvester Stallone. However, I do feel that somehow this is something I’ve been preparing for since childhood.”
This is definitely an interesting way to revitalize the action franchise and already has my wallet within its grasp.
