No Major Changes for CBS’ Fall Schedule

CBS likes to tout itself as America’s most watched network. Its ratings success is mostly contributed to having the two most popular shows on TV, The Big Bang Theory and NCIS.

The network also has no shortage of procedurals that viewers love on its schedule. With that in mind, only a few minor changes were made to its fall schedule.

Its most high-profile new series is The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon. The show follows a 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper, as he navigates high school and survives life in East Texas. The show will be narrated by Jim Parsons and has been given the network’s coveted Thursday at 8:30 pm timeslot.

Adding to its ever-growing list of cop dramas is the reboot of S.W.A.T. starring Shemar Moore. CBS is also jumping on this season’s military drama bandwagon with Seal Team starring TV favorite David Boreanaz.
