Latest Casting Call for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Could Point to Black Panther

According to Backstage, there has been a casting call for stand-in roles in Avengers: Infinity War.

The listing is looking for a woman between the ages of 20 to 49, with a dark complexion and shaved head. Furthermore, the casting was looking for multiple African-American men between the ages of 21 and 49.

Since the Black Panther film has recently wrapped filming and due in theatres on February 16, 2018, this could be a nod to the world of Wakanda and Black Panther on the set of Avengers: Infinity War.

The look listed for the female stand-in role matches the appearance of Danai Gurira’s role of Okoye in Black Panther, but it could be a stand-in for an unnamed member of the Dora Milaje.

As we don’t have much more information, it’s all just guess work as to who the stand-ins are for, or if they are just for background actors and extras.

Be sure to check out Avengers: Infinity War when it arrives in theaters on May 4, 2018.
