‘Power Rangers’ Actor Ludi Lin Joins Cast of ‘Aquaman’
Chinese-Canadian actor Ludi Lin has been officially announced to have joined the cast DC Comics film Aquaman as reported by Deadline. Ludi Lin has been deemed one of Asia’s fastest growing stars after his feature film debut in the Chinese fantasy film Monster Hunt. But this year he dazzled fans as Zach the Black Ranger in Lionsgate’s reboot of the popular property Power Rangers.

Lin is confirmed to be playing the role of Murk. In the comics, Murk was the leader of the front-line army of Atlantis known as the Men Of War. He was also one of Aquaman’s most trusted allies. Lin’s casting confirms that fans can expect some intense action sequences. Congratulations Ludi!
Lin joins an already star-studded cast that includes Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren, Willem Defoe, Yahya Abdul-Mateen and Temuera Morrison. This film will be directed by James Wan (Insidious, Furious 7) based on a script written by Will Beall (Gangster Squad).
Aquaman is expected to debut in theaters on December 21, 2018.
