Marvel’s ‘Black Panther & The Crew’ Comic Book Officially Cancelled
Unfortunately, after just two issues, the Black Panther & The Crew comic has been cancelled by Marvel Comics.
The Black Panther spin-off comic featured some of the most prominent and popular Black superheroes on Marvel’s roster including: Storm, Luke Cage, Misty Knight, Manifold and of course, Black Panther.
In an interview with The Verge, author, Ta-Nehisi Coates said that poor sales were the reason for the book’s cancellation.
As disappointing as this is, Coates did confirm that the series will finish out its current story line, which is being co-written with Yona Harvey. This will take the series to six issues before it comes to an end.
