Although many critics had unfavourable reviews of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it didn’t stop fans and movie lovers from scooping up the Blu-Ray once it hit stores.
The film was highly divisive among fans and critics (though most agreed that the appearance of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman was one of the highlights of the film), but a year after its turn in theaters, it’s become one of the best-selling blu-rays of all time.
This is not surprising as the film did well at the box office, raking in over $873 million worldwide, despite what the critics had to say.
Since being released on Blu-Ray/DVD last July, the film movie is still bringing in the buck for Warner Bros. Currently, BvS has sold 2.3 million units which is equivalent to $53 million. This puts the movie at number 48 on the best-selling Blu-Ray/DVD list.
