Mike Mignola Announces New ‘Hellboy’ Reboot
A new Hellboy movie is on the way, according to comic book artist Mike Mignola. The “Hellboy” creator posted the news to his official Facebook page earlier today:
As noted by Mignola, the new film will be helmed by Emmy-winning director Neil Marshall and star David Harbour of Stranger Things and Suicide Squad. Marshall previously directed The Descent (2005), and Doomsday (2008). Most recently, Marshall has lent his talent to the hit series Game of Thrones.
This will be the third Hellboy film. The first, which was released in 2004, was directed by Guillermo del Toro and starred Ron Perlman in the title role. The second film, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, was released in 2008.
