Dave Bautista Talks New Characters in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Dave Bautista, better known as Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy films, teased the appearance of some new characters in Avengers: Infinity War during the Talk is Jericho podcast.

While Bautista promoted his new film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on the podcast with his fellow WWE alum, Chris Jericho, he also revealed that we may spot some new players in the upcoming Avengers film.

Bautista mentioned that Avengers: Infinity War will of course feature ‘Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ alongside the Guardians, but it will also introduce some new characters into the Marvel fray. Bautista said:

“Those are the prominent Avengers that have been in all the films, but they’re really just adding so many characters in this. ‘Cuz they’re also starting to introduce other characters like they did in Captain America [Civil War]. They’ve brought in Spider-Man. But they’re going to start moving into different phases of Marvel. So they’re introducing other characters. They’re gonna go a whole series of Black Panther.”

As Bautista points out the new phases that Marvel will be entering into, it makes us wonder if some the next phase of characters will be the ones we may possibly see in Avengers: Infinity War. Maybe we will even see Captain Marvel herself, before her solo movie hits theaters.

Which characters do you think Bautista might be talking about? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.

Until then, we will just have to wait until more is released about Avengers: Infinity War or when the film hits theaters on May 4, 2018.

Don’t forget to catch Dave Bautista reprising his role as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in theaters now!
