Latest ‘Last Jedi’ News Alludes to Finn Having a Tough Choice to Make and Rey’s Jedi Training
There has been no shortage of Star Wars: Last Jedi news and rumors making thier way around the internet. But the latest news to arrive deals with a choice Finn will have to make and Rey’s training.
The Star Wars show dropped the news in their post Star Wars Celebration video. In a summary of the trailer and their take on it, hosts of the show, Andi Gutierrez and Anthony Carboni asked Daisy Ridley about Rey’s training and her newfound abilities. In response to her character exuding power in the trailer, she replied:
“Really? I didn’t take that from there. I mean we saw a little bit of training, and her being a bit overwhelmed, as per usual. But there’s definitely a more ominous tone.”
As for former Stormtrooper, Finn, John Boyega told the Star Wars Show that the hero will be facing an important choice when the movie releases this December. Boyega said:
“I think Finn is at a point where he needs to find his place now. When he stabilizes and wakes up, it’s time to choose his side. Are you part of the Resistance or are you going to continue running from the First Order? This film follows his journey to deciding – and when he does decide – it’s game on.”
