The DCEU is wasting no time introducing us to all of the Superheroes that exist in their shared universe. November’s Justice League is set to launch us right into the world that these characters live in, and from that film, we’ll be getting a lot of solo films for each hero.
Aquaman is one of the heroes in the JL lineup, and his solo film has been announced since 2014. After lots of planning and pre-production done by director James Wan and his team at WB, he’s let us know (via twitter) that the movie is about to begin filming:
It’s nice to know that the film is finally taking off after months of prep. We know that a lot of work goes into making these awesome superhero films, and Aquaman couldn’t have been an easy film to work on at all. We just hope all of the filming goes off without any issues and we get the Aquaman film we’ve all been deserving.
