Ghost Rider Set To Return To Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. teased a character’s scorching return to the show
In the tweet seen earlier today, there is a possibility that the fan favorite Ghost Rider may be making a return before the end of this season.
TV Line confirms that that Gabriel’s Luna’s Robbie Reyes, aka the Ghost Rider, will be returning to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. According to TV Line, Ghost Rider will be returning for the season finale, airing May 16th. The premise of the season finale has been revealed that “in that closing hour, Coulson and the team — amid the surprising emergence of Ghost Rider — attempt to stop Aida from ending the world”.
Earlier in the season, Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) was revealed to be the vengeful and fiery Ghost Rider. Reyes left during the mid-season break of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., after learning that his uncle, Eli Morrow, gained control of the mystical tome the Darkhold, using it to build a Quantum Particle Generator. The conflict ended when Ghost Rider and Morrow held on to the generator, inter-dimensional portal. Fans can recall that The Darkhold was used by AIDA to create the Framework, further connecting the Ghost Rider’s fate and the current world S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are trapped in.
