The game is structured as a 2-on-2 tag team fights, but what’s really impressive about this upcoming game is the roster. A mixture of iconic characters jump into the fray, allowing the player to select from a wide variety. From the Capcom side, we’ll see some familiar faces like Street Fighter‘s Chun-Li and Ryu, Resident Evil‘s Chris Redfield, and Mega Man‘s Mega Man. In contrast, coming from Marvel’s range of characters include Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, and Rocket Racoon, to name a few.
Together, the teams will also be fighting a new villain, Ultron Sigma. It seems that it will be a sort of combination of Marvel’s Ultron and Mega Man‘s Sigma, joining together to become a mega evil robot. Capcom claims that more will be revealed about this villain in the game’s “cinematic story mode.”
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will be released on September 19, 2017 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Pre-order is available now.
