According to the report, toward the end of the film Ving Rhames and Michelle Yeoh can be seen. At the press conference, James Gunn confirmed that Rhames is Charlie-27 and Yeoh is Aleta Ogord; two Ravager leaders.
Why they appear in the film has not been shared, but they will meet with two aliens, named Mainframe and Krugar, as well as Stakar (Sylvester Stallone) in one of the five post-credit scenes.
Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige revealed that Charlie-27 and Alera would not be seen until the third Guardians film. He told io9:
“You will not see [Charlie-27 and Aleta] until [Guardians] 3 at the earliest. One of the original ideas was, James [Gunn] was fleshing out the character of Yondu… and having the fun of tipping our hat to the original Guardians team. [It] just gives James another set of tools to play with as he’s piecing together future stories.”
This information is very intriguing indeed!
