Clockwise from top: Microbe, Night Thrasher, Mister Immortal, Squirrel Girl, Debrii and Speedball.

Marvel’s New Warriors is about a group of teenagers with powers who live and work together. Because of their age, they’re still learning how to fit in the regular world and the superhero world.

Squirrel Girl, Doreen Green is an endless source of energy and positivity. She has the powers of a squirrel and is very acrobatic, has fighting skills and talks to squirrels. In the comics she often gets their help as witnesses. She never leaves home without her squirrel sidekick Tippy Toe.

Craig Hollis, Mister Immortal’s power is right in his name. He can’t die. He’s the cocky, member of the team who prefers to let the others fight. He thinks he’ll figure everything out eventually. He also considers himself a ladies man.

Dwayne Taylor, Night Thrasher actually doesn’t have any powers. He’s a local You Tube celebrity who likes to promote himself. He’s a smart guy who has his own version of justice. Dwayne is secretly from a rich family, a fact he hides to protect his street cred.

Robbie Baldwin, Speedball’s powers allow him to launch kinetic balls of energy. He really wants to be a hero and that makes him very impulsive. His immaturity affects his abilities, causing him to lose control at times.

Zack Smith, Microbe has one of the most interesting powers, he can talk to germs. This makes him a hypochondriac. He also can tell where people have been and what they’ve been up to, since the germs tell him everything. Zack is shy and working with the group helps his self-confidence.

Deborah Fields, Debrii is a funny, clever trickster who is also a low-level telekinetic. Living her life as out and proud lesbian, she has no trouble speaking her mind and calling out others on their nonsense. Super heroics caused a deep loss for her and now she takes care of herself.

Marvel’s New Warriors is executive produced by Marvel’s head of TV Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory, who has worked on The Punisher and The Defenders.

Marvel’s New Warriors is set to premiere in 2018 with 10 half hour episodes.
