It seems like every movie is getting a sequel these days and not to be undone, Legendary recently announced that 350 foot tall Godzilla will be returning to cause havoc on movie theater screens everywhere. Godzilla, which came out in 2014 grossed $200 million domestically and over $500 million globally. With those kind of numbers, it only makes sense that Legendary Pictures would want to keep the ball rollin with a sequel and though still only in pre-production, casting is well underway with the most recent addition being none other than Underground star, Aisha Hinds.

underground-season-2-aisha-hinds-harriet-tubman-3.jpgHinds plays famous historical figure Harriet Tubman on the WGN America drama, and though still a relatively new face in the industry, has already received praise for her work on the show and has already worked with a few big names like Bryan Cranston and Anthony Mackie when she starred in HBO’s All The Way, just last year. The monster sequel which is currently titled Godzilla: King of Monsters, is expected to have a 2019 release and will then be followed by a Kong Vs. Godzilla film, a collaboration between Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures in 2020.

Did ya’ll see Godzilla? Did you like it? Are you excited for the sequel? Or are you a big fan of the original and just wish that Hollywood would leave the classics alone? Let us know in the comments below!
