Superman Returning to ‘Supergirl’ for Finale
Since his appearance in Supergirl’s first two episodes of the season, fans have wondered when Superman would return to visit his cousin.
Wonder no more, because Tyler Hoechlin’s Man of Steel will be back in National City for the season two finale.
Clark and Kara teamed up to fight Metallo and Cadmus before he returned home to Metropolis.

Since his appearance Kara has continued the fight against Cadmus, become friends with a Luthor, fought aliens with her superhero friends on another planet, starred in a musical, been fired and began dating a Daxamite prince. So, they’ll have plenty to catch up on.
There are no details on what brings Superman back to town, but it could involve the final battle versus Cadmus or Kara’s continuing problems with Mon-El’s over-protective, murderous mom.
In addition to Hoechlin’s return, Katie McGrath (Lena Luthor) was named a series regular for season three.
Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 pm on The CW.
