Marvel’s ‘Cloak and Dagger’ Show Will Focus on ‘Character & Emotion’
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have now been blessed with a some news regarding Marvel’s newest TV series. A few days ago there was a pre-screening showcase for the 2017 LA Screenings that will take place in May and Disney Media Distribution’s SVP/General Manager, Mark Endemano, debuted some new information regarding the upcoming Cloak & Dagger series. ABC’s Freeform network has ordered for 10 episodes, and according to Endemano:
“Cloak & Dagger is about character and emotion above all. It tells of a romance between Tandy and Tyrone in a way that we haven’t really seen before in a Marvel TV series,” said Endemano. “So think Romeo and Juliet though I can tell you that they won’t be dying at the end of the first episode!”
While the Cloak & Dagger series was rumored to have begun filming in February, a report from THR suggests the show will premiere in late 2018 alongside Marvel’s New Warriors on ABC’s Freeform station.
