The Defenders has been highly anticipated, ever since Netflix began to release the standalone shows that featured Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones), gearing fans up for the eventual coming together of heroes.

In the new show, the title team will square off against an enemy in New York who is known as Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver). We can hear the antagonist’s voice over speakers in an elevator where she ominously says, “Going down.”
