There is a homecoming for Raven Baxter and co.
Today, Disney Channel announced that they have officially ordered a spinoff series to That’s So Raven, titled Raven’s Home.
News of the spinoff started to create buzz last year when Symone herself announced that she was leaving The View in order to work on Raven’s Home.
ET reports that Raven-Symone and Anneliese van der Pol will officially reprise their roles as Raven Baxter and Chelsea Daniels respectively. Additionally, Raven and Chelsea’s children have been cast as well. Black-ish’s Issac Brown and Being Mary Jane’s Navia Robinson has been cast as Raven’s twins Booker and Nia, while Superstore’s Jason Maybaum has been cast as Chelsea’s son, Levi.
That’s So Raven ran from 2003-2007 and wrapped after 100 episodes. The premise of Raven’s Home introduces Raven and Chelsea as divorced single mothers raising their children in one household. As one Raven’s kids begin to show signs inheriting the ability to see visions, Raven has to learn how to balance raising a child with abilities and a busy and chaotic household.
