The actor in the photo and video is in a motion capture suit, so it’s impossible to know exactly what character they are playing until the visual effects process is complete. However, judging by the prop weapon they are carrying it’s a possibility that this actor could be portraying one of Thanos’ henchmen Corvus Glaive. Corvus Glaive is one of five Generals that lead Thanos’ army and they are called The Black Order. Besides Corvus, other members include SuperGiant, Black Dwarf, Proxima Midnight and Ebony Maw. Each General has their own unique skills and abilities making them powerful assets for Thanos’ insidious agenda.Infinity War will serve as the culmintion of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe which will bring the Avengers face to face with their most powerful enemy. After being teased in a post credits scene at the end of the first Avengers film, fans have been waiting impatiently for the time that Thanos finally reaches Earth and wreaks havoc to find all of the Infinity Stones. In the famous comic book storyline that inspired the film, each member of the Black Order was sent to different corners of Earth to retrieve an Infinity Stone and battled a portion of the Avengers team. Some were victorious while others failed and if these set photos are any indication that our theory about their appearance is correct, we are in for an epic showdown unlike anything we’ve ever seen from a comicbook film to date.
Infinity War is being directed by the brother duo Joe Russo and Anthony Russo while the script was written by MCU alums Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. The star studded cast includes Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson, Josh Brolin, Zoe Saldana, Chris Hemsworth and many more familiar faces. Are you excited at the possibility of seeing the Black Order adapted to the big screen? Got any fantasy battles you’d like to see in the film? Proxima Midnight vs. The Hulk perhaps?
