After last year’s tease in the form of a tweet from Kingsman star Taron Egerton, with the words “rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated,” many fans hoped that Colin Firth would be returning as Harry Hart.
A new poster for the highly anticipated sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle, confirms that Firth is indeed returning to the Kingsman universe.
The Golden Circle will bring back director Matthew Vaughn, screenwriter Jane Goldman, actors Firth, Egerton, Mark Strong, Sophie Cookson, and Edward Holcraft. New additions include a cast of talented actors such as Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal and Elton John.
In The Golden Circle, the Kingsman discover an allied spy organization in the United States, called the Statesmen. Then, they must join forces to defeat a common enemy.
It should be interesting to see just how Harry Hart’s death was so “greatly exaggerated,” when Kingsman: The Golden Circle hits theatres this September.
