New ‘Game of Thrones’ Video Features Walk to Iron Throne
HBO’s newest Game of Thrones teaser has seemingly narrowed down the Iron Throne contenders to three.

In the clip Daenerys, Cersei and Jon Snow are each seen walking to the throne. After each one sits, the video ends with Cersei’s breath turning into a white walker’s creepy blue eyes.
It’s important to note that just because the promo only features three characters vying for the Iron Throne, that doesn’t mean they are the only ones who could take it. Littlefinger, Tyrion and Sansa are all viable contenders to the throne.
Season six ended with Cersei killing her enemies in a wildfire explosion. Following her son Tommen’s suicide, she finally took her place on the throne and became Queen. Meanwhile up in the north, Jon had successfully united the northern houses and the wildlings, in the process becoming King in the North. Daenerys, having finally acquired the ships she needed, is leading her army, allies and dragons across the narrow sea to reclaim her family’s crown.
Of course, all this infighting will mean nothing when the greater threat of white walkers makes it through the wall.
Season seven of Game of Thrones premieres Sunday, July 16 at 9 pm ET on HBO.
