Aquaman: Concept Footage Shown at CinemaCon
This year’s CinemaCon comes to a close tomorrow, and social media is being bombarded with descriptions of many of the films that they got to see footage or concept art from. Aquaman was among those films.
These tweets don’t give away much, but they do praise director James Wan for his vision, as well as the style of the movie. A few of them also speak about Black Manta, and how his costume is comic book accurate. Check them out below (hat tip to CBR):
They just played a behind the scenes trailer 4 Aquaman which showed animated production artwork & narrated by @creepypuppet. Huge thumbs up

Just saw a super slick reel of Aquaman concepts. It included people riding sharks underwater described as a dogfight. Wan has a great vision

Aquaman concept art footage looks epic. Sci-Fi underwater with a LOTR vibe to its design too. Lots of creatures. Manta helmet looks accurate

“Underwater dogfights with armored sharks” definitely sounds badass enough to get most people excited for this film.
This concept art seems to have people interested, and it looks like James Wan is doing justice to Atlantis and Black Manta. We’ve got our fingers crossed for this one.
