Thor: Ragnarok: Promo Art Provide New Looks at Thor and Hulk in Gladiator Armor
Marvel Studios brought the Civil War to the big screen last year, but due to the events at the end of Age of Ultron, neither Thor or The Hulk were present for the big battles.
The last time we saw these powerhouses, Thor left Earth to try and figure out why all of the Infinity Stones are suddenly popping up out of the woodwork. In The Hulk’s case, he stole a Quinjet, and shot himself into a yet-to-be disclosed location.
What has been disclosed, is that both of these characters are somehow going to end up together in Thor: Ragnarok. Based off of things we’ve read regarding the film’s story, it looks like Thor and The Hulk will both end up fighting one another in a gladiator-style arena. Some previous promo art confirmed that, but now we’ve been given a better look at each hero’s gear in these new promo images (hat tip to Comicbook.com). Check them out below:
The most noticeable thing in these promos is that Thor is missing both his lusciousj locks, and his mighty hammer, Mjolnir. We can only wonder what goes wrong with him for him to lose those things.
Hulk, on the other hand, is equipped with a helmet, and a huge weapon that looks like a hammer.
It’s unclear how either of these heroes got themselves stuck in a situation like this, but we can’t wait to see them throw down in a Colosseum.
