Pharrell Williams is one of those rare creators who can make magic in any art form. Fox has decided to harness that magic into a movie musical featuring his life story.

Atlantis will focus on Williams’ childhood in Virginia Beach. Williams is producing the project with his partner Mimi Valdes.

Tony winning director Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening) will take the reigns of the film.

Though no other specifics have been announced, one has to assume the 10 time Grammy winner will be heavily involved in the music of his life story.

Williams recently co-produced/co-scored and worked on the soundtrack of Hidden Figures. He was also nominated for an Oscar for his hit song Happy.
