Cyborg Advances Technology of the ‘Justice League’ in Teaser
Cyborg is probably the least well-known member of the Justice League, so he’s most in need of a character trailer. For the unfamiliar, athlete Victor Stone is injured in a lab accident. To save his life, Victor’s scientist father Silas augments what’s left of his son’s human body with experimental technology that basically makes him part machine. Yeah, his story is dark.
Ray Fisher portrays Victor Stone/Cyborg in Justice League. Based on his cameo scene in Batman vs Superman, his origin will stay close to the comic book story.

The video opens with a shot of Victor before the accident, looking very normal. Then the action cuts to Cyborg getting ready for battle. In the film, he seems more machine heavy than in other interpretations. That costume could not have been easy for Fisher to manage.
Though he’s appeared multiple times in animation, Cyborg has only been portrayed in live action on the TV series Smallville, where he was played by Lee Thompson Young.
With a Cyborg standalone film tentatively scheduled for 2020, it seems it will be some time before there’s a full Victor Stone story. However, impatient fans will see him again when he shows up in The Flash movie.
Justice League, starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Henry Cavill as Superman, hits theaters Nov. 17.
