Henry Cavill Joins ‘Mission: Impossible 6’

Henry Cavill is keeping busy in between stints with the Justice League. He has just joined the cast of Mission: Impossible 6.

The Superman actor announced his casting on director Christopher McQuarrie’s Instagram page. The two shared a hilarious back and forth where McQuarrie asked, “Say, @henrycavill, had a thought. Curious if you’re interested in a role in the 6th installment of Mission: Impossible. No pressure.” He continued “Just a few caveats: must enjoy extreme heights, high speeds, motor vehicles of all varieties (especially aircraft), practical stunts, firearms, and sporadic exposition. All good?”

Cavill responded “Oh ok…..I’m in!” To which McQuarrie finished the conversation in classic Mission: Impossible style, “Welcome aboard. Your social media account will self destruct in 5 seconds.”
