Reshoots Begin on ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’

It’s just about three months until the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming and the production has begun some reshoots.

Before everyone panics, reshoots are a common practice for Marvel Studios. They even schedule them in advance.

On large-scale productions any number of things can lead to needing reshoots. Once effects are added and early drafts of the film are screened, producers and directors may decide they need different backgrounds, better angles or new scenes for story purposes. All of these are very common during the filmmaking process.

The announcement about Spider-Man’s reshoots was discovered on co-star Laura Harrier’s Instagram page. There is no word on which other cast members are involved in the reshoots.
