‘Game of Thrones’ Premiere Date Finally Announced
Game of Thrones season seven news has been coming at a very slow pace, but fans got some relief when HBO finally announced the premiere date.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 16.
The announcement came in a dramatic fashion befitting the epic series, as the show ran a Facebook Live that featured flamethrowers melting a block of ice that contained the date.
Fans were also treated to an early teaser featuring classic dialogue from the first six seasons and icons of the great houses of Westeros.

When last we left off, Cersei had decimated her enemies in a huge wildfire explosion, Jon was crowned King in the North and Daenerys, her army and dragons were headed for Westeros to reclaim her crown. And let’s not forget about that army of white walkers headed toward The Wall.
With only two seasons featuring 13 episodes left, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
Once again season seven of Game of Thrones premieres Sunday, July 16 at 9 pm ET on HBO.
