One of the trademarks of Pixar films is the perfectly cast voices they feature. For Cars 3 that tradition continues.
The studio recently announced that Kerry Washington, Nathan Fillion and Lea DeLaria would be joining an already star-studded voice cast.
Washington portrays Natalie Certain, an analyst who’s all about the numbers. Fillion is Sterling, a rich businesscar that runs the elite Rust-Eze training facility. DeLaria plays Miss Fritter, an intimidating, legendary school bus who keeps license plates from her victims on the road.
In this third outing Lightning McQueen must deal with a new crop of technologically advanced racers looking to pass him by.
Yes Owen Wilson returns as champion racer Lightning McQueen and Larry the Cable Guy is back as his well-meaning best friend Mater. Also returning are Bonnie Hunt, Tony Shalhoub and Cheech Marin.
They are joined by Armie Hammer as new star on the racing circuit Jackson Storm, and Cristela Alonzo as trainer Cruz Ramirez, the franchise’s first female racer.
Cars 3 races into theaters June 16.
