Disney Reveals ‘The Last Jedi’ Footage to Shareholders
At its annual shareholders event, Disney revealed the first footage from Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
While that footage hasn’t been released to the public, descriptions of what was shown were live tweeted by LA Times reporter Daniel Miller.
The clip picked up right at the end of The Force Awakens and featured short dialogue between Luke and Rey. He asks, “Who are you,” and she responds with some quick lightsaber skills.
The footage had appearances from Chewbacca, General Leia and Finn. Settings included mountains, oceans, forests and deserts.
So basically, it’s a Star Wars movie.
Disney is really amazing at keeping fans constantly on the edge of their seats with anticipation, while actually revealing nothing.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Mark Hamil and Carrie Fisher. It flies into theaters Dec. 15.
