NuHumans to Appear on Marvel’s Inhumans Series

Although The Royal Family has a rough time being brought to life, they will be making their live action debut on the small screens this summer. The “Inhumans” live-action debut was originally planned to be part of Marvels Phase 3 line up, but they decided to take it off the slate and make into an ABC series. With the entire royal family now cast, it seemed like casting news around the show was done, but “Inhumans” comic writer Charles Soule revealed that we can expect to see other Inhumans that aren’t apart of the Royal Family.

During his appearance on Coast-To-Coast Comic Con, Soule stated that characters that he created for the comics would be making appearances in the “Inhumans” TV show. The  “NuHumans” are a later generation of Inhumans who experienced Terrigenesis — the process that activates Inhuman superpowers — unwillingly, when a cloud of Terrigen Mist was unleashed on the world. It’s unclear whether that specific story will be adapted, but Season 2 of Marvels Agents of Shield did end with Daisy Johnson knocking a bunch of terrigen crystals into the ocean. In the comics many interesting characters rose, including the badass  Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel.

What do you think about the Nuhumans making an apperance? Do you think we might see Kamala Khan make her debut? Let us know in the comments below!

“Inhumans” will first premiere in IMAX theaters on September 1st, and then continue on ABC on September 26th. The series is produced by showrunner Scott Buck and stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus the Mad, Serinda Swan as Queen Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Mike Moh as Triton and Sonya Balmores as Auran.
