Over the past few years Disney XD has quietly built a solid library of cartoons meant to trigger adult nostalgia. They once again played into that when it was announced the network was bringing back the classic DuckTales.

Now ahead of its premiere Disney has not only released a first look trailer, it has also renewed the show for a season two.

Early renewals aren’t uncommon in the animation world, as the long production requires lots of advance notice.

DuckTales follows the adventures of Donald Duck’s nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie as they move in with their rich and famously grumpy granduncle Scrooge McDuck.

The updated version boasts a star studded voice cast featuring David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck, with Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan as Huey, Dewey and Louie.

DuckTales flies onto Disney XD later this summer.
