Amy Acker Joins FOX X-Men Pilot
Based on this week’s casting news, the untitled X-Men pilot from FOX will have big expectations to live up to.
Things got even more interesting with the announcement that Amy Acker is joining the project as Kate Stewart, the estranged wife of Reed (Stephen Moyer). Together the parents must take their family on the run when their teen children develop mutant powers.
The cast also includes Natalie Alyn Lind, Sean Teale, Blair Redford and Jaime Chung.
Acker is best known for her roles in Angel and Person of Interest.
The series is from Burn Notice creator Matt Nix and the pilot will be directed by X-Men franchise veteran Bryan Singer.
