The Avengers Assemble in Anime Form
Coming to television in Japan this summer, ‘Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ will assemble in a new anime series.
The show will be titled, Marvel Future Avengers and will follow a young boy named Makoto when he gains superpowers following a gene manipulation experiment.
Makoto and some other young people with powers join The Avengers as pupils and are deemed the Future Avengers.
The new recruits will be trained by and fight alongside The Avengers team that includes: Iron Man, Thor, Wasp, Captain America and Hulk.
Prior to the show’s debut, a manga adaptation by Teruaki Mizuno will be released in the April issue of issue of Shogakukan’s, “Bessatsu Coro Coro Comics Special”.
This will not be Marvel’s first foray into the anime market. Previously, the company worked with Japanese animation studio Madhouse to create other anime shows that featured: Blade, the X-men and Iron Man.
The two entities also teamed up for the anime films, Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher and Iron Man: Rise of Technovore.
The exact date has yet to be set for the show’s premiere, but be on the lookout this summer for the latest Avengers series!
