Nicholas Hoult “happy to go back” to X-Men!

With a little less than a week until Logan slashes its way into theaters, the future of the X-Men films have had quite a bit of buzz around them as of late. From Hugh Jackman expressing his interest in putting the claws back on if the MCU were involved, to Patrick Stewart officially announcing this is the last time fans will see him play Professor X since he took on the role in 2000’s X-Men. Now we have Nicholas Hoult, who plays a young Hank McCoy/Beast in the prequel series, expressing his interest in reprising his role as the big blue beast. Hoult sat down with HeyUGuys and covered whether or not he’s in the next X-Men installment.

“I think I’m involved. I’d be happy to go back…I love playing that character and I love everyone involved and I know there’s one in the works.”

Sophie Turner confirmed shooting for X-Men: Supernova would begin shortly. I’m sure we can all agree that the last thing viewers need is another confusing recast or timeline. Here’s hoping Hoult returns in all his mutant and proud glory for a few more films. In the meantime, somebody get to Fox and Marvel to make this X-Men/MCU crossover happen for Hugh Jackman!
