David Kaluuya has hit the cinematic jackpot. The highly anticipated and critically acclaimed Get Out is in theatres now. He will be appearing in Black Panther, and Deadline is now reporting that Kaluuya has scored another big role. Kaluuya is joining Steve McQueen’s Widows, which has a stellar cast lead by the incomparable Viola Davis, and Cynthia Erivo.

“The plot centers on the aftermath of four armed robbers killed during a failed heist, and their surviving widows join forces and resolve to pull off the raid themselves.”

Kaluuya is gonna have an amazing year. He is currently shooting Black Panther. Get Out is expected to be a financial and critical success for Kaluuya and Jordan Peele. This is Peele’s directorial debut. Kaluuya is also starring in The Kitchen, which he workshopped at Sundance in 2016. Kaluuya and his team should start expecting more offers, because Kaluuya is truly a star in the making.
