Joe Carnahan To Write ‘X-Force’ Movie
With the booming success and popularity of Deadpool still in effect, Fox has started development on an untitled ‘X-Force’ moving starring The Merc with a Mouth and fellow team members. According to Collider, Joe Carnahan has been tapped to write the film, but ComicBook has also recently reported that Joe is not only writing the film, but directing as well. They’ve also reported that Ryan Reynolds himself will be co-writing the project. Until 20th Century Fox releases an official statement or the filmmakers in question address the rumors, it’s unclear what the truth is. However, it does seem safe to say that Joe Carnahan is definitely involved with the project.
Joe Carnahan has directed and written multiple big Hollywood projects, including The A-Team, The Grey, Bad Boys for Life and is writing future big projects such as the American remake of The Raid and the film adaptation of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted game.
