Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s star is rising and she has added another project to her expanding filmography. Earlier this week GOC reported that Mbatha-Raw is set to star in a thriller Julia Hart’s Fast Color, which was announced in January. Today it was announced that Mbatha-Raw will be starring in romantic drama called Irreplaceable You, opposite Michiel Huisman (Game Of Thrones)!

The project will be helmed by Stephanie Laing (Veep) and the script is written by Bess Wohl.

“The film follows Abbie and Sam, soul mates who were destined to be together until death got in the way.”

This is a big year for Mbatha-Raw and it is only getting better. Mbatha-Raw will be seen next in Beauty and The Beast which will be released on March 17, and the untitled Cloverfield movie will be out in October.
