Jennifer Garner Joins Fox’s ‘Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda’
Acclaimed actress Jennifer Garner has just joined the cast of Fox’s Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, an adaptation of Becky Albertalli’s best-selling young adult novel of the same name.
Greg Berlanti, whose name may ring a bell for fans of The CW’s DC television universe, will direct the much anticipated film.
Aptly described as a coming-of-age and coming-out drama, Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda will follow the story of 15-year old Simon, a high student who is not yet ready to come out to his classmates. When class clown Martin inadvertently discovers Simon’s deepest secret, Simon finds himself in an impossible position: to keep Martin quiet, he must help him get to know his best friend Abby.
Up-and-coming actors Nick Robinson and Logan Miller star as Simon and Martin respectively. Garner, who was most recently seen in 2016’s Nine Lives and Miracles from Heaven, will play Robinson’s mother.
