The Predator: Film’s Director Shares First Look at Cast Members
Do you remember being a little kid, ordering take out with your family and having a much anticipated movie night? I’m sure I’m not the only one that had a designated day of the week where you’d go to a video rental spot (RIP Blockbuster) and choose a movie for the family to enjoy. When it came to my family, on certain occasions, we’d rent two movies. One would be for all of us to watch and the other would be an R-Rated action flick specifically for my Dad. It was during this traditional family activity that I saw the very first Predator film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Fast forward a couple decades and this same film has had an okay sequel starring Danny Glover, a comic book series, a reboot, another reboot where it collided with the Aliens franchise made popular by Sigourney Weaver and now, director Shane Black has taken on the job of bringing us a new Predator film with a new cast of characters.
As production begins on the film, Shane Black took to his twitter account to post the first official image containing a portion of the cast. Check out his tweet below:Partial cast… beautiful human beings, good people. Also, killers. Cameras roll today. Follow me on Twitter for updates. Wish us luck. pic.twitter.com/vYGgGesW0Y

Based on the photo, Black definitely has some promising talent in the film. From left to right; Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us, Black Panther), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Boyd Holbrook (Logan, Narcos), Jacob Tremblay (Room), Shane Black, Olivia Munn (X-Men Apocalypse), and Keegan Michael Key (Keanu, Key and Peele). Based on this photo, it’s safe to say that this film is aiming to add some inclusion in its ranks which is always a good thing in our books. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Thomas Jane are also rumored to be apart of this eclectic cast of talent. I, for one, am anxious to see Trevante Rhodes’ character in some amazing action sequences (please don’t die first).
While speaking with Collider about the plot of the film, Black assured fans that this film would serve as a sequel and not a complete reboot. With that being the case, it makes you wonder if there is a possibility for Schwarzenegger to reprise his role as Dutch or even Danny Glover to reprise his role as Lt. Mike Harrigan. I guess we will just have to wait for more official set photos to be released to find out. What do you say GOC fam, are you excited for this film? Do you like the casting choices so far? Let us know in the comments below.

Looks like a good cast. Always look forward to seeing the graphics and special effects, considering technology has become so far more advanced over the last couple decades. Will probably see it when it hits the big screen.
