In season 2 of Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil, we were introduced to Frank Castle aka The Punisher, and we have to say it was an exhilarating experience. We’ve seen The Punisher get the live-action treatment before, but Jon Bernthal’s take on the character was damn near perfect, and Marvel must’ve agreed, seeing as how they struck a deal with Netflix to give the character his own series within the Marvel shared universe. The show is confirmed to already be filming, but we don’t have a release date just yet. However, we do have some set photos.

We discovered these images via MCU Exchange, and in them we can see Frank stealing a police car. We don’t know why, but we’re here for the action. Check the images out below!

We can’t fully understand what’s happening here, but it looks like Frank is outside of the law once again. However, we’d expect no less of The Punisher based on the way he operates in the comics and in Daredevil. We’re not sure if this show will directly tie in or affect the other Marvel shows that have their home on Netflix, but we’re just glad to see Frank getting another shot outside of the comics.
