Justice League: Zack Snyder Says Team Will Have ‘Complex’ Dynamic
If you ask any diehard DC fan how they feel about Zack Snyder, they’ll probably have some choice words to describe the Man of Steel and Batman V Superman director. Snyder has always received mixed feedback due to his style of directing, and often the personal touch he adds to the character’s stories in the films. But of course, Snyder has another chance to redeem himself with Justice League, the third DCEU he’ll be stepping in the director’s chair for.
From what we’ve seen in trailers and images released online, the team will be assembled for quite a bit, meaning they’ll put aside their differences and work together at some point in the film. One of the biggest complaints about previous installations in the DCEU was the overbearing somberness of it all, and it’s been reported by WB Execs that they’re looking to remedy that with Justice League by implementing an overall lighter and “fun” tone this time around. From what’s been shown to the public, the cast has a lot of fun while off-screen, and some could wonder if that same energy carries over when they’re filming. Well, Snyder sort of explains how it does, and discusses how each actor’s real personalities come through while filming, making the experience all the better (hat tip to Screen Rant):
“One of the more rewarding aspects of creating Justice League was having fun exploring the dynamic between this diverse group of larger-than-life characters with disparate backgrounds, ethics, and unique perspectives all trying to come together and work as a team..it not only offers an opportunity for great drama and complex relationships, but it also often results in great fun. It’s an exciting concept to explore and it only gets better when you add the component of our incredibly talented cast – their chemistry really adds to that dynamic.”

Well, we’re glad that the director enjoys the vibe that the cast sets while the film is in production. We know that Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher are pretty close buddies in real life now, and we’re all aware of how much of a jokester Jason Momoa is. We just hope that Snyder is able to capture the best of everyone’s personalities, and deliver a truly amazing entry in the DCEU. Because let’s face it: we all want the guy to succeed and finally gain the trust of DC fans worldwide.
