Black Panther Synopsis Officially Released
Ah Black Panther news, how we love you so.
We’ve been receiving a small amoint of news revolving around the Wakandan Superhero in the news lately, but production on the film has begun, so we’ve been anticipating more information about the film to be released to the public. It looks like all that waiting has paid off, because we’ve been given an official synopsis for the movie from Marvel themselves:
“Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.”
Previous reports have shown us that Michael B. Jordan (Creed) is set to play Erik Killmonger, a longtime rival of Black Panther in the comicbooks. At this point, we can only assume that he’s the main villain in the film, but we’re not sure how much damage Killmonger could cause that would put the entire planet in danger. Maybe he’ll end up working with Ulysses Klaw (Andy Serkis) at some point in the film Guess we’ll have to wait for a trailer to give us some more insight.
